Not every BMW Android screen is capable of transmitting video correctly. Even among similar-looking Android units, only certain hardware can provide the stable video output required for reliable synchronization.

The same applies to aftermarket BMW digital dashboards. Most digital clusters do not contain the specialist input required to receive and display content transmitted from an Android screen.

For this reason, two separately purchased products cannot simply be connected and expected to work together.

The DHStyling kit includes the correct Android screen, the correct Sync Dash and our dedicated synchronization connection. Important Head-Up Display Information

If your BMW is equipped with a factory Head-Up Display (HUD), the HUD speed projection will no longer function after the Sync Dash has been installed.

Vehicles without a factory HUD are unaffected.
