This kit is suitable for vehicles with no existing ambient lighting, as well as vehicles already fitted with factory 3-colour or 64-colour ambient lighting. If you buy a kit for a car with 0 colours it will come with a OBD coding tool. Cars that already have an ambient menu, there is no coding required, its plug and play.

It adds illuminated air vents, rotating tweeters, speaker covers, dashboard lighting, door lighting, footwell lighting and centre-console illumination for a complete OEM-style interior transformation.

The C-Class Coupé kit contains fewer door components because the vehicle has two doors. Seat-back lights are not included with this configuration.

Cup-Holder and Armrest Light Compatibility

The illuminated cup holder and armrest storage-compartment light are only compatible with vehicles already fitted with factory 3-colour or 64-colour ambient lighting.

These two components are not available for vehicles with no existing factory ambient lighting.

This restriction only applies to the cup-holder and armrest lights. Every other component within the main kit is available for vehicles with no existing ambient lighting.

Lighting Control

The available lighting controls and vehicle integration depend on the selected kit and the vehicle’s existing specification.

Vehicles with no factory ambient lighting require the complete retrofit configuration. Vehicles already equipped with factory 3-colour or 64-colour ambient lighting require the matching upgrade configuration.

Available colours and lighting behaviour may vary according to the vehicle’s model year, existing factory system and installed equipment.

Installation

Professional installation is strongly recommended. Installation requires the removal of dashboard, door and centre-console components, together with careful routing and connection of the vehicle-specific wiring.
